China's Dalian Shipbuilding Industry has launched two LNG-powered liquefied CO2 carriers. The joint venture consisting of Equinor, Shell, and TotaleEnergies said on 3-4-2024 that the two 7,500-cbm ships have officially been launched. The vessels NORTHERN PIONEER and NORTHERN PATHFINGER will have LNG dual-fuel propulsion and a wind-assisted propulsion system.
