We were heading to Pladju, Indonesia and I was great friends with the 2nd Mate who was
an experienced seaman. I was a first tripper I was being nosy,and was on the bridge. and enquired when looking at the map that was being used to enter the port,and asked what these red crosses were.The answer was oh! there Mines. left by the Japanese in 1945 These lazy Bast**** have just cleared a channel through them,Instead of Sweeping them away this being 10 Years later. HAPPY DAYS ERR mAYBE
