Completed 1930 as Macgregor Laird for African Steamship. 1953 purchased by Anglo-Saxon, renamed "SHELL QUEST". For use as a survey ship off West Africa and in the Persian Gulf. 1956 sold to Stanhal and renamed Salamat. 1961 scrapped Yugoslavia.
