| 05/22/2005 - 19:58 | I commenced with Shell Tankers in 1952 under the alternative apprenticeship scheme for Engineers. During apprenticeship sailed on MV Ninella and SS Trochurus. After apprenticeship sailed on various ships until January 1961. Obtained Chiefs Certificate in May 1961 then left sea and joined the NHS. Retired in November 1995. |
