Ive been out of the Merchant Navy now longer than I was in it and even now I wish for the days when I was young free and single and traveling the World. Great times had with Shell especialy on the good old E Boats.Happy days. |

the few short years I sailed with Shell ( UK ) Ltd, ( 1975-1985 ),it's hard to remember every one I sailed with,but two names that stand out are Fred the Ted & Biffo,if any one can remember them let me know,or if they visit this site them selves then it would be great to hear from you. |

Ive been trying to contact CPO Ian ( Snowy ) Snowdan who I sailed with on Shell Tankers ( U.K. ) Ltd, does any one remember him,or any one else that might remember me.It would be great to hear from you,get in touch. |

I wrote here some time ago but forgot to mention that I sailed with Shell Tankers between the years 1975 - 1985 and would like to hear from any of the lads I sailed with,my first trip was on the Melo and I had some great times on a few of the E boats.I remember sailing with Bert Rintole a couple of times, I saw his name mentioned from his daughter, he was a good man with a wicked sense of humour, my condolances to his family. |
